It's strange that headbands it's something that you always used, it's not a definer of one time or style, you can use it in many occasions and with diferent styles. Headbands are timeless and the best of it it's that they are very practical.
É estranho que as fitas de cabelo seja algo que desde sempre usámos, não define uma época nem um estilo, podemos usa-las em várias ocasiões e com diferentes estilos. As fitas de cabelo são intemporais e o melhor de tudo é que são bastante práticas.

I tried to englobe various kind of headbands in this category, because if I didn't do so, I was never going to finish this post!! hehehe
Eu tentei englobar alguma variedade de fitas de cabelo nesta categoria porque, se não o fizesse, nunca mais terminava este post!! hehehe

When I say simple I mean the kind of headband that doesn't have many accessories and actually looks like a ribbon.
Quando digo de simples  quero dizer que a fita do cabelo não tem muitos acessórios e se assemelha na realidade a uma fita.

You can see that there are thinner bands and very simple, without any flourishes, used in classic and serious looks.
Podem ver que há fitas mais finas e muito simples, sem floreados, utilizadas para um visual mais clássico e sério.

This kind of headband it's different, it seems however a little bit ethnic, that I love!! It looks like an old egyptian jewelry.

Este tipo de fita de cabelo (se é que se pode chamar assim) é diferente,  parece no entanto um pouco étnica, o que eu adoro! Parece uma jóia do egípcio antigo.

This kind of headband reminds me of the 50's and 70's, it's practical because you can wear it either in your head to secure the hair or like a scarf.
Este tipo de fita faz-me lembrar os anos 50 e 70, é prático porque se pode usar tanto a segurar o cabelo, como uma fita, como um lenço.

Here's a dificult one...girls with short hair always find it difficult to be creative when styling their hair! I think that headbands are absolutely great in this case because it gives instantly a feminine touch to the boyish hair.
